The heritage days are the occasion to discover the Château du Lude, major element of the Sarthe’s architectural heritage and one of the Great Castles of the Loire.

In the rooms, you taste the charm of a living house and discover the way of living from the Middle Ages until today.

The different facades of the castle sums up the evolution of the architecture in France for 700 years.

In the Park, you discover many ways to create a garden at different times and spaces. The lovers of gardening find here rare plants in the botanical walk or in the family kitchen garden, exceptionally open on the week-end. And do not forget the rose garden and its exotic touch with the collection of Chinese roses.

With tow mazes and the tunnels in the moat, the castle of Le Lude offers moment of complicity and playing to the families.

In the old kitchen, have a break with the jams and pancakes made on the old stoves. They are cooked in front of you and ready to be eaten! Of course, the fruits are from the kitchen garden of the castle.
