FROM THE 20th TO THE 23rd, FROM THE 26th TO THE 30th OF DECEMBER AND FROM THE 2nd TO THE 4th OF JANUARY<\/strong><\/p>\nA candlelit visit<\/h4>\n
In the heart of winter, the soft light of Christmas gives a particular brightness. This year, during the visit of the Ch\u00e2teau du Lude, the ceiling lights and the spots are discreet to make room for the candles, chandeliers and other night lights.<\/p>\n
In the living rooms, the Christmas decorations show the richness of the natural and local resources harmonizing with the dominant tones of each room.\u00a0 A big part of them have been conceived by Anne Verlac, number two of French Florists 2024, helped by students of Nazareth high school.<\/p>\n
In the Great Gallery, the Christmas Eve table is decorated with earthenware plates from Bourg Joly workshops, previously Malicorne earthenware. The table centerpiece uses the classical colors of Christmas : red, green and gold. In the blue sitting room, we find the welcoming mood of a fireplace at Christmas Eve, with the manger, highlighted by the blue and golden vegetable chandelier. The Great Stairs\u2019 tuffeau stones are revealed by the white and silver decorations.<\/p>\n
Animations for families<\/strong><\/p>\nDuring the visit, several breaks are waiting for the visitors. In the hunting room, you can take a photo in Santa\u2019s chair (accessories are provided). In the Library, kids can sit and make a Christmas drawing for Santa that will be sent to him with the mailbox he left in the castle. They can also color provided printed drawings.<\/p>\n
In the Entrance Hall, the 21st and the 28th of December, a Christmas go\u00fbter for the foodies (hot chocolate, Christmas biscuits and other treats)<\/p>\n
Floral art workshop<\/strong><\/p>\nOn the 20th and 27th of December, learn how to compose a vegetable table centerpiece for Christmas Eve and new year celebrations, going home with your creation. The workshops are animated by Anne Verlac and don’t need particular knowledge.<\/p>\n
