Located at the crossroads of three ancient French provinces, the Maine, the Anjou and the Touraine, the Ch\u00e2teau du Lude is one of the major part of the heritage of this region.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The old medieval fortress transformed into a comfortable house. The facades of the castle testify to 8 Centuries of French architecture, from the Italian Renaissance to the Troubadour style of the 19th century, passing by the Franch classissism of the 18th Century.<\/p>\n

Discover the every day life of a great house on 5 levels.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the ground flour, visit the ceremonial rooms – the library, the Renaissance Gallery, the siting rooms – and a unique room typical of the Italian Renaissance, the\u00a0Studiolo.<\/em> This little cabinet is entirely decorated with paintings by the school of Raphael.<\/p>\n

In theNorth tower, the rooms recently restaured and open to public (between 2020 and 2022) immerse the visitors at the heart of the Belle Epoque<\/em>, withe the hunting room, the appartment of the guests, the staff quarters and the chapel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the afternoon,<\/strong> in the medieval kitchen, the wooden stove dated back to the 19th Century are turned on to make jams with the season fruits:<\/strong> rhubarb, raspberries, figs, plums. Once cooked, taste them on delicious creps and bring some jars back to home.<\/p>\n

Lovers of gardens enjoy the various atmospheres of the park. The leaves slowlycovers with their autumnal colours and the last bloomings appear in the spring garden. In the rose garden, the roses still perfum the air.
\nThose special days are above all the occasion to visit the kitchen garden, especially open to public.<\/strong><\/p>\n
