A week-end of entertainment at the Château du Lude

For the week-end of the Ascension, the Château du Lude provides entertainments for all the family.

An exotic touch: a camel ride in the park !

On 8th and 9th May, Marsy et Sila the dromedary come at the Chateau du Lude! They offer the vitors to have a ride on their back and enjoy an original point of view of the chateau and the gardens. Their slow and comfortable pace is appropriate for all the familly. The children can ride with their parents. The wald lasts for about 20 minutes. (not included in the entry price)

Gourmet days

On the afternoon of 9th, 10th et 11th May, come to the kitchen and taste the delicious crepes made on the wooden-stove. They are served with jams from the chateau and a glass of appel juice. (not included in the entry price)

the un goûter attend les plus gourmands dans les cuisines du château. Des crêpes bien chaudes sont à déguster accompagnées de confitures du château. En continu, sans réservation, en vente sur place.

  • Gardens and shop: 10am-6pm
  • House (self-guided tour with documents) : 11am-12.30 / 2.30pm-6pm
  • snack in the kitchen : 2pm-6pm
  • Camel ride : 10am-12.30 / 2pm-6pm

PRICES :

  • House & Gardens: adult 12€ /child (6-15 years) 6€
  • Gardens only : adult 8€ / child 5€
  • Camel ride : 10€ per person

OTHER INFORMATIONS:

  • House and gardens reachable for disabbles persons (except old kitchen and upstairs rooms)
  • Pushchairs not allowed in the house. A space is saved to let them during the visit.
  • On leached dogs are allowed in the agrdens.

On-site catering on 9th May

On thursday 9th May, a food-trock comes for lunch and snacking. The make fouées, traditional little breads from Anjou filled with salty or sweet filling: rillettes, goat cheese, garlic butter, spread, est.
